The Neptune Society’s Atlanta office provided me with exceptional knowledgeable service when I lost my beloved Mother. They helped me every step of the way and I couldn’t have gotten through this without them. They were so very compassionate and understanding and went above and beyond for me. I will always be grateful to them for being there for me.

Mark and his staff were very kind and caring, making us feel comfortable throughout the whole process. At no time was there any pressure to rush or upgrade the options Mom had already selected. We felt as if we got their best care from start to finish.

A very wonderful experience from the beginning. Canaan was very personable and helped with whatever I needed and answered all questions. He was very kind. Yesterday was a month since my mom passed away and today she would have been 93 years old. I received a personal message from Canaan’s office acknowledging her birthday today and reached out to me in case I needed to talk to anyone. I would not hesitate to refer any loved one to Neptune Society to handle remains.

Mark Musselwhite was wonderful! He was very compassionate, courteous, professional, and communicative. Mark helped make a difficult and painful situation flow a lot smoother. Mark treated me like I was family from the first time we spoke. He was very understanding and caring and spoke softly and tenderly. He arranged for my dad to be transferred immediately from a rude funeral home into the care of Neptune. I cannot thank Mark enough for his care and compassion and his assurance that everything would be okay.

It’s a pleasure writing this review. Excellent from beginning to end, Kim Dillard represented Neptune well. Prompt, knowledgeable, professional, patient, just what was needed. Above all caring, not about pressure sales. She was more like a new friend, not a salesperson. She allowed me space/time to do my research and comparison. Neptune offered me everything and was cost-effective. After joining in about 3 days I received my beautiful memento kit. A load has been lifted from my shoulders and I am so happy I made the choice to allow Neptune to take care of me. My family will not have the burden of trying to handle everything, it’s all-inclusive. Kim Dillard was the reason and the many things Neptune offers did it for me. I highly recommend Neptune and would give them a 10 if that was possible. Good job!!!!

I have known James Cordell for quite some time and highly recommend him. We had been concerned about our final plans and did not want to leave that up to our kids. James answered all our questions and concerns with the utmost respect, compassion and care. If you are looking for honest help in planning your cremation, call James.

I appreciated Kim Dillard’s soft demeanor and tone of voice. She made it easy to pre-plan by carefully explaining all that was involved and answering all of my questions. Buying into the plan was an emotional decision to make for me but Kim was very patient. Thank you Kim for all you have done to help me get this end of life planning done. It has taken a load off me. I am confident that the decisions I have made for myself will benefit my children in the future.

We recently used the Neptune Society in Atlanta for crematory service. Joseph ** did an excellent job explaining the process, quoting a fair price, and keeping us informed at every step in the process. I would not hesitate to recommend him or the Neptune Society to anyone in need of crematory services.

In Jan my mother passed away and I had the most amazing experience working with Joe the director. He called me immediately after the passing and provided me with info on the process up into the actual cremation. Everyone was so polite and courteous. During the toughest time, Neptune staff made the process easier. Without them, I would not have made it. I received everything in a timely manner. No one can replace my mother but if I ever had to do it again I would choose Neptune society again

Losing someone close to you is never easy but Joseph Ricks at Neptune Society made the entire experience from start to finish as pleasant as it could have possibly been.  With one call, he came swiftly to us & walked us through the entire process.  He was very informative & also very caring & genuinely sympathetic.  Joseph’s professionalism is unparalleled as was his comfort & concern towards us.  I would definitely recommend the Neptune Society & Joseph Ricks if you find yourself in a situation in need of their services.

I wanted to personally thank Joseph at the Neptune Society. My mother passed away on Jan 3, 2018, and when I spoke to Joseph he immediately told me not to worry that he would take care of everything for me, and that is exactly what he did for start to finish. My husband and I met with the Neptune Society representative three years ago. It allowed us to talk about things then that were very relevant as my husband got sicker and sicker. Then, when we contacted the Neptune Society when my husband passed, the people that came were incredible. They were so professional and very nice. We were contacted by Joseph, who’s the director of the company where we live, and he could not have been nicer. He did follow-up calls and anything I wanted and needed. Everything was taken care of. And I’ve shared his name with several people that we know.

Their service was absolutely great and it made the whole bereavement process so much easier. I did the pre-need with my parents and they both had full funerals, but this just allowed us time to talk about what each of us wanted. After we talked about it, it allowed us to share that information with other relevant family members. It was the best possible experience under the circumstances.

I talked to three different companies that night. It was 3:00 in the morning and Mark from Neptune Society was by far the most personable and understanding. He knew exactly what I needed to hear. He was also very attentive and extremely helpful. He answered my calls and was more than willing to stop whatever he was doing to answer my questions. It has made a big difference. Neptune Society did a great job and I was really impressed. I couldn’t believe how easy they made the whole process.

I was on the way to my meeting with Joseph Ricks from the Neptune Society.  I called to say I was running late due to a flat tire.  He came and changed my tire.  We arrived at the assisted living and I told my relative that Joseph not only is taking care of the arrangements for her husband…He also changed my tire.

My husband and I completed our pre-needs with the Neptune Society in January 2014. He recently passed away and I must say that it was one of the smartest things we did in preparation for this sad event. We had discussed all options at that time and I was very clear on exactly what my husband wanted and vice-versa. Mr. Joseph Ricks, the Atlanta Director of the Neptune Society, is the consummate professional and a genuinely kind and compassionate human being. He was there for me during every step of the process and made sure that everything ran as smoothly as possible. My recommendation is enthusiastic and without reservation.

When my father passed away we called Neptune Society and immediately found them to be personable and professional.  Throughout the process, they were readily accessible, responsive and understanding of our needs.  What seemed like a difficult process was made very simple for us and alleviated a lot of worries.  Big thanks to Mark Musselwhite who is super gracious and was by our side through this very tough time.  I would not hesitate to recommend Neptune Society, Atlanta.

My sister found Neptune Society after my dad passed away. Since my dad was a veteran, we wanted to be sure it was someone that handles veteran stuff. Their rep, Mark, secured everything for the cremation. He was very kind, very understanding, very professional and very compassionate. They took care of everything for us and it was done very beautifully. It’s a big thing when you have to go through that but with Neptune Society, it was a comforting experience. They did an amazing job and I would highly recommend them.

Everything that I’ve read about Neptune Society was all very good. Then, their salesman, who was very personable, came out, talked to me, made me feel comfortable and explained everything to me in detail. I then decided that they were the way to go. I got the package as well as the cherry chest with the urn. It feels good to know that everything’s all set and that nobody’s going to be inconvenienced the time I pass.

This is something no one of any age should be without. Kenneth Johnson and Ben the manager of the Atlanta branch of The Neptune Society are both fantastic to work with. With a small down payment and an affordable monthly fee you can rest assured your loved ones, friends and family will not have anything to worry about when you pass, and that can be any day for anyone. It is such a great feeling knowing everything is taken care of. The planning and information booklet helps you to address everything that needs to be done. It’s a difficult subject to come to terms with, but trust me, you will be so happy you did, and so will your friends and family.

Mark did a wonderful job guiding us through such a hard time. His compassion and knowledge of how to best Honor my father was absolutely amazing and we are grateful to have had him there with us.

Mark Musselwhite, in the Atlanta office, was very helpful in assisting with arrangements with my Mother’s affairs. We did not find it as easy to address my father’s cremation 7 years ago, with Neptune, and were very relieved and grateful to have an significantly improved situation this time. There is still some need to improve the phone support for this location, but once we got to Mark, all was handled professionally and effectively. Thank you.

Extending a warm Thank You from the bottom of our hearts to Mark Musselwhite and The Neptune Society regarding the care and thoughtfulness demonstrated throughout this process when our loved one passed away. Honoring our loved one with a United States flag was such a surprise and a touching acknowledgement of my father in law’s military service. During this sorrowful time, our hearts are full with gratitude for the comfort and dignity shown to us. Thank you again from our entire family!

Mark Musselwhite was awesome. He was there through the whole process. I was able to call him at 1am in the morning when i started losing my mom. He was there and always answered or returned phone calls. He helped me through all the life insurance red tape. He helped me through the hardest time in my life. I was lucky to have found him and the company. They took such great care of my mom and made my final memories of my mom beautiful.

We had a terrible family tragedy, and Mark and the Neptune Society were incredibly helpful, respectful, caring and went above and beyond in many instances to help us through this most difficult time. I could not recommend them more highly.

My Mother recently passed away in April from Alzheimer’s disease. I was inconsolable that day and I never would  have thought of all that was needed to be done. Fortunately, we purchased a pre-need contract from the Neptune Society and I only needed to make one phone call and they took care of everything. From coming to our home, constant interaction with the Manager Mark Musselwhite to ensure all our needs were covered, and my Mother’s cremains arriving from Georgia to Long Island, NY with no complications in plenty of time for the service. The day she died I was crying and I went into her room where she had passed. On the bed was a rose and a Condolence card from The Neptune Society. If for a brief second I felt okay that was enough, I couldn’t say enough about Mark Musselwhite and the two gentlemen that were here that day. They were so respectful and made everything less stressful than it would have been if my family had not used the services of The Neptune Society. I can’t thank you enough…….You made the hardest day of my life comforting and for that I am eternally grateful….

My parents bought the pre paid packages a few years ago.   My mother passed away May 30 and Mark handled everything from calling the funeral home to mailing the death certificates.   He called to check on us and was caring and professional.    I would recommend the Neptune Society to everyone.

My brother, Stephen died unexpectedly on February 8, 2017. He was only 30 years old. My mother was devastated.
I was shocked and overwhelmed with details that needed to be taken care of that my mother could not do. I asked her wishes. She wanted Stephen to be cremated as we had cremated my father almost two years earlier.
I had worked with Neptune Society when my father passed away. He and my mother had pre-purchased plans in order to make their passing easier for their children. We were not disappointed in any way.

My parents arranged everything with Neptune several years ago My mother passed a few years ago and my father recently. In both cases we simply contacted Neptune and everything was handled effortlessly with the upmost professionalism. The Neptune representatives were supportive and respectful which gave us relief during these very difficult times.

I had a very special situation that was handled in the most professional way. I am the guardian of a 90 y.o. brother living in an assisted living facility. He had a prepaid Neptune Society burial plan. He was in hospice and declined rapidly. The day he died, I was having a cardiac pacemaker installed. Mark Musselwhite from Neptune handled ALL of the details related to my brother, including the cremation, until I was ready to take over the memorial and other family related issues. Everything was accomplished in a friendly and most professional manner. Thank you Mark and thank you Neptune Society.

Words cannot express how timely, professionally, personally, and beautifully Neptune Society responded at the time of my husband’s passing. Two uniformed attendants came quickly and draped him in a burgundy satin blanket and matching pillow. They made his bed and left a long-stemmed red rose on the covers. We were not rushed to say goodbye. Neptune sent obituaries to papers and set up legacy. Neptune responded quickly and kindly to any question or request day or night. Death Certificates came within a week so I could attend to legal matters right away. So happy we both signed up in advance.

I am just a simple country guy from West Virginia, who somehow got lucky and met an amazing girl from Florida. We traveled around and settled in north Georgia, sharing a wonderful life. Then everything went horribly wrong, and after a complicated fight with cancer, she is gone. I was very lost, still am, and my trust in general was shaken. If it wasn’t for my caring mother-in-law, and Mr. Musselwhite helping, I don’t know how I would have gotten through. Thank you all for your compassion.

I can’t say enough about how pleased I am about the service I received from the Neptune Society Cremation Service. My husband died on Christmas Day, 2016. From the gentlemen who picked up his body to Mark Musselwhite, I have to say I could not have been treated with more kindness and dignity. Everything that they said they would do was done with kindness and respect.

Neptune Society has been the most professional, yet kind and caring, facility in the handling of the death of our loved one. OMG!!! The Neptune Society is the BEST purchase we have ever made! Richard came to our home, explained the plan and process, we asked 1000 questions, he assured us the plan was as simple as it sounded (buy the plan, family member passes, you make the call, family is picked up, returned to you in a timely manner), we made the purchase. Gram passed at 11:30 pm on a Fri night. We made the call, the representative was extremely kind when getting our information. Within 1 hour we received a call stating the van was on its way, that gram would be picked up by 2 am. Saturday, midday we received a call from Mark, with the funeral home, he explained the process to us, that he would email the paperwork to us and if we returned it Monday morning we could have gram back on Wed. Monday morning came, we looked over the paperwork and Mark called us to walk us thru the (self explanatory) paperwork. We faxed it back and when gram was ready to be returned to us, Mark called to make arrangements. This was Wed the same week!!! I cannot begin to explain how this service has blown our family away. I have never in my life witnessed a smoother process than the Neptune Society has offered. I highly encourage you, if you are on the fence regarding cremation, to look into the Neptune Society and listen/look into what they have to offer.

My husband and I both chose the Neptune Society for our final needs a couple of years ago. We knew what we wanted and didn’t want our children imposing their wishes. Three weeks ago, my husband passed away. I was and am devastated. If I had to do any thinking during this period about funeral arrangements, I would have been incapable. Fortunately, because we had preplanned, two wonderful gentlemen came out to the house within an hour of his passing. They handled his body and my emotions in an extremely respectful fashion and allowed me as much time with him as I wanted before they left with him.
