Neptune was amazing from setting up the plan to the passing of my mother and all the assistance with cremation process. Taylor is a saint handling all of our product requests and the dozens of jewelry pieces he and his team had to handle. Everyone we encountered was amazing, starting with the gentlemen who came over quickly after my mom’s passing.

Super efficient, sensitive, and low-key. My mom prearranged her cremation and Taylor from Neptune was prompt in contacting us and arranging everything we needed to have done. He went the extra mile, even bringing everything needed to our home. We are very impressed and satisfied.

I was so impressed and comforted by the extraordinary kindness and sensitivity throughout the entire process with Neptune Society. My sister and I attended an information luncheon to hear about the various plans. We never felt pressured and all of our questions were answered. When my sister passed on, the men who came to pick up her body at my home were gentle and compassionate. I felt that the whole process of caring for her body was done in a profoundly respectful and gentle way. From that point forward, my communication with Mr. Moody was always pleasant and helpful. My father had the foresight to purchase his plan long in advance and when he passed I didn’t know how it would work. Taylor surpassed my expectations. He was so helpful and Neptune Society took care of everything. The only thing that went smoothly after he passed was this. I highly recommend it. We have plans to purchase something in the future for my mother in law. Total peace of mind.

My Mother pre-arranged her cremation 6 years ago at a Neptune Society facility in southern California and then moved to Denver.  When she passed away the medical staff at her assisted living facility called the nearest Neptune in Arvada.  It was tall taken care of.  When my husband suddenly and unexpectedly passed away, I called the Arvada site and one of there staff met me at the hospital here and I paid for their services just 4 hours before he died.  I was so impressed with their professionalism, their caring in my devastation that 6 months later I made the decision, as my Mother did, and pre-paid for my own cremation.  I can’t say enough good things about this organization.

With so many things that need to be taken care of at a time like this, the Neptune Society was right there to make sure that everything necessary for cremation was handled properly and efficiently in a compassionate and caring manner.

When my mother passed away, Taylor helped us through the process in a very compassionate and efficient manner. He even delivered the cremains to my father in person!

When you lose a loved one, the accompanying responsibilities to arrange for the gathering of their body, preparations for cremation, and documents to be filled out can be overwhelming at a time when one is already grief-stricken. My father paid for a Neptune Society cremation service many years ago. His advance preparation for his death, combined with the care and guidance received from Todd Putnam and his colleagues at Neptune Society, Arvada really helped me through what is a difficult time. From the start, Todd walked me through the process and was extra caring when I asked that my last letter to my father be with him at the time of cremation. I was touched that he understood it was the only part of me that could be with my dad when he died in the hospital from Covid19. So, he made sure the letter was there when he picked up my dad and assured me it stayed with him when cremated. Given my father was a veteran, Todd also helped me with the burial flag and death certificates. I am very grateful my father had the foresight to plan ahead by purchasing a Neptune Society cremation/burial service plan. I am also very grateful for Todd Putnam and his colleagues who have a heart and spirit for helping people tend to the last thing they could do for their loved one(s). Not everyone can do what they do with caring, compassion, nurturing, and patience. Again, I am very grateful to Todd and Neptune Society. The experience has me considering purchasing a plan for my husband, myself, and my mother. I have also told our children to consider this service.

I can’t believe it’s taken me a year to leave a review.  Last year my father died unexpectedly while traveling overseas. It was an incredibly stressful and heartbreaking situation.  Neptune handled things very well.  Once my mom and I returned, Neptune put our minds at ease and took care of all arrangements.  Alejandro was professional yet compassionate.  I would trust this company with the afterlife care of all my loved ones.

The experience from beginning to end was excellent. Mark ** was very professional. There was no hard sale just info. When I called back to arrange to have him return to do the sale he was very efficient. I have received all the materials and am overall very happy with how things went. I have recommended several friends.

My wife Cathy, and I have been Neptune members for many years. We joined because we liked their offer of service and we both felt cremation was easy and beneficial for each other and our families. Cathy passed away in Colorado Springs at 0330 on 19 February in our home. We planned her passing to be at home when she entered hospice care. The hospice nurse contacted Neptune that morning. I had requested they not pick Cathy up until after 0800. They did arrive between 0815 and 0830. Todd ** contacted me concerning Cathy’s death. He was very compassionate and caring. He answered all my questions and helped with a viewing on Friday, 21 February for my son and his family.

Our experience was very pleasant. Their service was easy and straight forward. Their communication was comforting, accurate, and void of fluff. I would definitely recommend their service.

From the moment that the gentlemen came to pick up and transfer my mother to the facility to the return of her remains everything was wonderfully professional. The gentlemen that picked my mother up from our homemade the bed and left 2 roses on the pillow in her honor. A real class act all the way around. We were provided with a variety of options to honor our loved one with no pressure at all. As a retired professional chaplain, I cannot say enough wonderful things about their service.

Neptune did a great job! The service they provided made a difficult situation as good as it could be. I would highly recommend their services.

The Neptune Society has been absolutely wonderful.  They were wonderful when my Father passed and they were just as wonderful when my Mother passed.  My Father and Mother had a prearranged package which was helpful, however, the Neptune Society was there when it was time.  In addition to taking care of everything, they were efficient, caring and even were concerned about how I was doing.  They took the stress away so I could grieve without having to make decisions at a difficult time.  I am so impressed with the services that I am going to get a prearranged package so my family does not have the burden of making arrangements when it is my time.

My son suddenly passed away on May 15, 2019, and amidst the shock of the unexpected loss, we still had to plan a burial or cremation. Because my sons passing was so unexpected we had to try and remember what his wishes were in the event he should pass away. He did tell us he wanted to be cremated and so that’s what we set out to do. Olinger was the first one we contacted but an ensuing legal issue got in the way and Olinger wouldn’t budge, and a few others wouldn’t budge on this tiny legal matter that wasn’t even a big deal. Now, it seemed like we were out of options and didn’t know what to do. So we called Tom Martino’s radio show and he suggested we get a hold of The Neptune Society. As it turns out The Neptune Society should have been the first number we called. The staff at the Arvada office were wonderful from beginning to the end. The receptionist Robin Leonard is friendly and very helpful. Office manager Alejandro Ruiz was kind and helped explain some of the procedures of the paperwork. The one person who was amazing through this horrendous ordeal was funeral arranger Todd Putnam who proved you can have compassion and understanding while conducting business. He even made sure to remind us to get some sleep, eat and take care of ourselves. Todd explained everything to us from the paperwork to the cremation, so we knew what to expect from point A to point Z. Something I must say Todd told us the viewing would be only for a limited time but it was much much longer which allowed all his friends time to say goodbye. Todd didn’t have to do that and that’s something that touched our hearts and we will never forget that huge gesture of kindness. One last thing that must be mentioned and that’s the hard work and dedication of Jessica McFerrin, James Jackson Matt Van Deventer who prepare the bodies for viewing and cremation. These are the people behind the scene who don’t get the praise or recognition they deserve.

The people at Neptune Society, Alejandro Ruiz in particular, were greatly helpful at a time when my family could most use it. I will happily recommend the services at Neptune Society for the unfortunate times that a family will inevitably have to face. Thanks!

My wife of nearly 64 years died at home on Mothers Day, May 12, 2019, with much of the family present. The Hospice Nurse called Neptune and two very friendly and efficient transport people arrived in reasonably short order to take my wife to the crematorium. I had made it clear I wished to visit my wife one more time before cremation, and Mr. James Ward of Neptune made the necessary arrangements. My wife was beautifully made up when I made my very private visit and, as was true throughout, I was treated with friendliness and compassion. After the ashes were received right on schedule, my 4 children, their spouses, 4 grandchildren, our pastor and myself proceeded to a previously chosen place high up in the mountains for a service of remembrance and the scattering of the ashes. From the first contracting with Neptune 13 years earlier until the service just mentioned, I could not have been more pleased with the treatment we/I received. I have told many of my friends about it and recommended they consider Neptune when they do their end of life planning.

Our mother passed this past March 3, 2019. She had pre-paid for her cremation with Neptune which left us somewhat concerned how it would work out. When a loved one passes it is an emotional roller coaster. The obvious sadness and the joy of happy memories flood your soul. But, everything you need to do becomes overwhelming quickly. Alejandro with the Westminster office did an outstanding job getting us through this as we grieve.

My mother was very impressed with Neptune Society and with the services so I talked it over with my husband, and we decided to look into it. A woman came to our home and we liked her and the presentation. There was no pressure at all and it just seemed like a really good idea. We both got the travel insurance because we liked to travel and the fact that we wouldn’t have to ship a body back from wherever it was we were, I thought that was good and it seemed affordable. After my husband passed away and when I finally had to take care of his ashes and go through all the stuff that you have to go through, they made it very easy and simple. It was very positive under the circumstances.

My parents planned their cremation and purchased services in advance. When the unexpected happened, their forethought and care guided us through a very hard time. We wanted to do the same for our daughter.

Our TX daughter had used Neptune Society when her husband had passed in 2015 (from a recommendation of a friend) and related to us how much easier it was to deal with the initial paperwork processing so she could attend to other necessities. We had signed up in June 2017 with Neptune Society and didn’t expect to need their direction and help for my husband’s passing the first part of March 2018. Neptune Society has been extremely helpful in initiating an immediate response with directions and explanations, and what they would do first, and the rest of the steps that would and were their job to finalize this procedure. Carrie Pixler at this office, guided me and our daughters with sympathetic but efficient detail, to lessen the burden that grief carries.

Alejandro took care of the details for me. I am 89 and he explained everything to me and was extremely patient. He took the time and even came over to me and help me fill out all the paperwork. I was amazed that he drove so far to help me out when probably everyone goes to the office to do that. Well, he did and he is a very good guy. When the cremation was completed he called me and didn’t even tell me to come pick up the cremated remains, he just showed up and brought the remains to me personally. He went out of his way to bring me the cremated remains, the flag and goodwill. He truly cared and he was wonderful to me. I want to thank him a million times for all the kindness he showed me. I really appreciate him and the Neptune Service.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you and especially your associates Mr. Brennan O’ Shea and Randy Buck for the delicate attention and human respect in the moments of grief and sorrow at the passing of our beloved mother Nora.

The way they carried out their duties and the respect they showed towards Nora was heartwarming. These gentlemen embodied what every grieving relative expect at one of the saddest moments in their lives.

My representative was Carrie **. Throughout this entire process, Carrie was patient, caring and understanding. She was sensitive to the fact that I had lost a loved one and walked me through everything that I needed to do and explained everything thoroughly. She made the experience as painless and as easy as possible. When I picked up my grandmother’s remains, I was able to meet Carrie in person and thank her. We were very satisfied with the quality of the products we purchased from the marketplace. The only suggestion I would make is to have a little more flexibility to adjust the graphics on the products. The image I received was a little distorted.

When a man of his caliber takes his last breath. To us honoring his memory takes precedence. The level of genuine compassion, attentiveness, and Care extended from the Neptune Society allowed us to honor Edmund in the proper way. Their attention to detail, professionalism, and kindness is second to none. My mother had everything set up and paid for with Neptune Society so when she passed away, all we had to do was make a phone call. We already had her funeral arrangements set up. They were helpful and took care of everything that needed to be done. I dealt mostly with Chris and she was great.

Carrie ** took care of all my family needs as it related to my father’s unexpected death. She was personable, caring, thorough, and most importantly, she took care of everything in a timely manner, given our stressful situation. Thank you, Carrie! Appreciate everything you did for us.

Although the program seems to be very complete and the agents very knowledgeable and respectful there is no way I can write a true and accurate review until I have used the program. Of course, then I won’t be able to read, write, talk or fill out questionnaires. But so far at this stage of the program and my life, I am very pleased and have recommended it to other family members.

My son was killed by a motorist that was not paying attention to pedestrian traffic. In my time of need and suffering, they made it clear and comforting that they would take care of him with dignity and care. The process was easy and the compassion was evident. Thank you for the help.

I contacted the Neptune Society via email and was called by a representative in a timely manner. We agreed on a time to meet, and I spent an hour with him. He was professional and knowledgeable and answered my questions clearly. It is a huge relief to have this end of life issue settled with a reputable company. Thank you!

We just signed all the paperwork for our final care plans with Neptune. Our sales rep was knowledgeable and thorough and the process went smoothly. We are pleased to have made our plans, saving our children the burden of those decisions.

The Neptune Society staff provided courteous and conscientious support with all the sensitive issues related to our family member’s passing. We needed to arrange for payment from an independent Neptune Society in California to the local Neptune Society in Arvada. Also needed to coordinate obtaining a burial permit in California and scheduling a ceremony at a California military cemetery. The staff in Arvada took care of those details, which was a load off our shoulders. We identified a correction that needed to be made to our initial invoice, and the staff promptly made the correction. Overall, we received attentive and very good service and are grateful for the assistance received from the Neptune Society.

My daughter passing suddenly on 4/21/17 is the most devestating and painful thing ever to happen in my life. I was very unsure how to even start with her final arrangements. Mr. Ruiz at the Arvada Co office was one of these nicest , helpful people I have ever met. Mr. Ruiz helped me every step of the way . I am forever grateful for his help and genuine compassion. I recently lost my father.   My father had an account with Neptune Society.  This was understandably a very difficult time for my family.  I contacted Alejandro Ruiz from the Neptune Society of Denver.  From the first time I spoke with Alejandro he was extremely kind and helpful. Alejandro helped guide me through the process for my father.  He was always easy to reach and quick to respond to my every request.  I cannot adequately express my gratitude to Alejandro.  I highly recommend the Neptune Society.

Losing someone that you love has a disorienting emotional quality that makes it difficult to go forward with plans, even when arrangements have been previously put into place. I felt quite grateful to the director of the Arvada CO Neptune Society, Alejandro Ruiz for guiding me through the necessary steps in carrying out my father’s last wishes in a professional and yet personally warm and flexible manner. Mr. Ruiz and the entire staff at the Arvada Center accommodated personal requests and minor changes promptly and courteously. I felt a commitment on the part of the entire staff to minimize any extra strains on the grieving family and I appreciated their care for us all very much.

My father signed up for and used Neptune Society. After he passed away, we had somebody that handled all of the associated tasks and everything was handled very well with Neptune Society. They were empathetic but no pricing was discussed because everything was prepaid. It was comforting to know that they were going to take care of everything and I didn’t really have to do much of anything other than to call them and tell them that my dad has passed away.

I have to say that I was stunned to see bad reviews posted here. My parents purchased a cremation plan several years ago. My father passed January ’17 and everything they promised they would do – they did. It was an incredibly kind and easy (as easy as it can be considering we just lost my dad) process. We made a couple of phone calls and everything was handled. My mom was able to pick up my dads remains 10 days later with copies of the death certificate and certificate of cremation. This was truly the best gift my parents could have given the 3 of their children. We knew that we were doing a memorial service at a later date and were able to grieve and spend time together with very few worries and no added costs or upset. I have to say thank you to the Neptune Society and to Carrie for helping to honor my dad’s wishes and allowing us to grieve with dignity.

Back on Nov. 17th, when I opened my front door to Scott Wills, it didn’t take long to see he was able to handle the subject matter exactly the way I do-with compassion and humor-his presentation manner was professional but warm and he had me convinced within a few minutes to go with the plan I chose!! Thank you very much, Scott!!

This organization is outstanding. They help make one of the most difficult times of your life easier and they succeed. Supportive, caring, timely and organized. Not much more you can ask. Thank you Neptune.

I’ve had 3 family members use Neptune Society. 2 in California and 1 in Phoenix. We have had great service from the Neptune Society. I would NEVER use a funeral home again. I made one phone call and that was it. We never had a salesman try to upsell us anything after the fact and we didnt have any surprise charges. I would recommend this company to anyone who wants cremation!

I cant say enough great things about this company. I’ve used a funeral home in the past and other “societies” here in Denver and no other company can come close to the service Neptune Society provides. After experiencing what Neptune has to offer I have told many friends and family members about them and they have also used them for preplanning their cremations as well.
