Sales Manager & Licensed Funeral Director
Having experienced firsthand the unexpected loss of a close loved one, Kristan Sivells learned some valuable lessons. In addition to working through the devastation of her young brother’s death, she found herself dealing with “professionals” who provided poor quality funeral services, a significant lack of empathy, and who charged unreasonable costs. As a result, Kristan was determined to specialize in all aspects of funeral services in order to help other families avoid this anguish. She made it her life’s passion to help others through their time of grief by providing quality and compassionate assistance. After meeting with her, you will find that she is not only one of the best in her field, she is also incredibly caring and thoughtful. Any road we walk is easier with the help of a concerned friend, and there are a multitude of those who have suffered a loss, who will testify that Kristan is that friend.
A native of Queens, N.Y., Kristan received two degrees. She holds a degree in Mortuary Science from Nassau Community College in Long Island, NY and an AS in Biology/Pre-Med from Medgar Evers College, located in Brooklyn, N.Y. As a licensed Funeral Director, Master Embalmer, and Crematory Operator, Kristan served the New York Cities Tri-State area for seven years and then continued her career in Virginia. Her 19+ years of experience has been greatly appreciated by the families she has had the honor of serving.
Kristan has provided professional services to hundreds of families in and around Hampton Roads, Richmond, Charlottesville, Fredericksburg, and the Chantilly area. She believes that treating families as her own is the key to providing quality service to every person she has the opportunity to work with.
