Our Team

Veronica Gutierrez

Funeral Director

Veronica is a licensed funeral director and has been serving families in the San Antonio, Texas, community since 2009. She enjoys being there for families when they need help, providing care and comfort during a difficult time.

Veronica is originally from Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico, but was raised and has resided in San Antonio since 1982. She holds an Associates Degree in Mortuary Science from San Antonio College.

She enjoys spending her spare time at the park with her miniature poodle, maltipoo, & rat terrier or just gathering for dinner with family and friends.


Cynthia Warren

Funeral Director

Cynthia Warren was born and raised in Houston, TX and is a recent transplant to San Antonio. She graduated from Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service in Houston, TX in 2015. Armed with compassion and empathy, Cynthia takes pride in being a gentle guide during the most difficult time in one’s life and providing the best care to her families.

When not working, she enjoys time spent with family, making art, and getting to know San Antonio better.


Marlene Villegas

Funeral Director

Marlene is a licensed funeral director and embalmer and has been serving families in the San Antonio, Texas community since 2013.

She is a second-generation funeral director embalmer. She is originally from Laredo, Texas, and moved to San Antonio in early 2008. She is the only daughter born to Raul Villegas Jr.(+) and Jacqueline Johnson, among her three brothers: Raul, David, and Danny.

At a young age Marlene loved spending time with her father. She would spend a lot of time following her father around the funeral home. She noticed his selfless acts and serving heart and was immediately inspired to become a funeral director and embalmer.

Later she attained an associate’s degree in Mortuary Science from San Antonio College, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management at University of the Incarnate Word in 2016.

When she is not serving families, she enjoys spending time with her family, which include her husband, Fernando; daughters: Kaylene and Arlene.


Melissa Rivera

Office Coordinator

Melissa joined the Neptune Society team in 2020 as the Office Coordinator for the San Antonio location. She received her MA in Administration from the University of the Incarnate Word and has returned to UIW to complete her BA in Human Resources. Melissa is an Army Veteran, enjoys spending time with her family, and perfecting her “green thumb”.


Grady E. Bible

Sales Manager

Grady has been leading our Prearrangement Team in San Antonio since 2019. He is originally from Houston, TX and is a proud Alumni of Texas A&M University in College Station. Grady currently lives in Austin and left his Corporate Accounting Career for Sales Management in 2003. He is the father of three fantastic children and two lovable but loud miniature schnauzers. Grady loves traveling to College Station to see his daughter and watch their beloved Aggie football team. He also enjoys the outdoors and cooking family dinners every Sunday evening.
